About the event
Join us for an intimate workshop where you’ll craft a piece of jewellery to love forever!
In this intimate 3-hour session, you’ll learn the ancient technique of sandcasting to create a simple ring or pendant. With guided instruction and multiple demonstrations, you’ll bring your designs to life with confidence.
Led by arts therapist Adi, this workshop is tailored to your individual needs. Adi’s warm and supportive approach ensures you’ll feel comfortable as you explore the process. You’ll begin with hands-on experience in various wax carving techniques—building up, carving, sawing, filing, piercing, melting, dripping and sizing your piece. Your creation will then be sandcasted in sterling silver right in the studio, and Adi will finish and polish your work offsite, arranging for convenient pickup or delivery.
This workshop welcomes anyone with a curiosity and desire to create. You’ll gain insights into Adi’s favorite techniques while discovering new skills in a nurturing environment. No previous experience is required—this workshop is perfect for beginners!
