Counselling and Arts Psychotherapy Support

Verbal + Non-verbal Processes

As a creative arts therapist, I specialise in arts psychotherapy and counselling services for individuals. Alongside talk therapy, I use and collaboratively explore the sensory, kinesthetic, perceptual, and affective information that emerges during the art making process.

Supporting Emergence

My aim is to safely support clients towards awareness and compassion in understanding their full experience, resolve pressing issues, integrate what is happening in the body and mind, foster empowerment as well as support the emergence of transformation through the therapeutic process.

Holistic advocacy

I am an advocate for the current developments in interpersonal neurobiology, polyvagal theory and attachment repair practices in arts therapy. I believe these widely cast a holistic, person-centred and trauma-informed perspective on the therapeutic encounter which assists toward psychological safety, emotional modulation and expression of non-verbal implicit memory.

Integrative Support

I practise through humanistic, strength-based and phenomenological stance, integrating an intermodal approach to arts therapy. Navigating between talking, art making, movement, gesture, somatic enquiry as well as play and drama therapy influences.

Outreach, online and face-to-face clinic sessions available at Melbourne Integrated Therapies
Thornbury, VIC.

I work with private and NDIS-funded clients.

If you are self-managed through the NDIS, you are eligible to receive this service.
